It all started when…
These photographs were taken in June of 2016 during an expedition into the pack ice on the Arctic Sea. 2016 tied 2007 as the second worst year on record for ice melt, surpassed only by 2012. Basked in constant daylight I sought to document the palpability of the climate, the extent to which the weather informed the seascape.
